Biohuts at the port of Bénodet

Conférence de 3 intervenants

Mr LOZACHMEUR Stéphane, CEO of Seanova Capsularis, attended the immersion of the nurseries.

On Thursday 18 October 2018, 12 Biohut nurseries were set up at the port of Bénodet (29) to study the species and their environment and contribute to the recovery of the ecosystem by protecting larvae.

These nurseries are presented in the form of cages lined with oyster shells to facilitate the development of larvae. This process will make it possible to analyse the fish stocks* in the port and estuary of the Odet.

*Living resources (animal and plant) in marine or freshwater (freshwater) aquatic environments exploited by humans (fisheries, aquaculture).
